Top 5 Dog Photoshoot Locations on the Sunshine Coast
We have been photographing pets on the Sunshine Coast for the last 5 years and we’ve collected a list of some of the most photogenic locations to take your dogs to and capture beautiful photos!
Ben Bennett Park - Caloundra
Ben Bennett Park is a little hidden gem in Caloundra. It’s not massive, but it’s a beautiful spot to go for a walk and go through all the different tracks. Lot’s of beautiful ferns and logs for your pets to pose on!
Noosa Botanic Gardens
One of my personal favourite spots in Autumn! We don’t have many deciduous trees here on the Sunshine Coast but there is a few at the Noosa Botanic Gardens. There’s also beautiful Jacaranda’s in October if you love purple! There’s so many different tracks to walk down and is usually very quiet on weekdays. Can be a lot busier on weekends as they do host events here.
Wild Horse Mountain
Yes, they’ve been cutting down the trees but this location isn’t any less pretty! Take your dogs for a walk at the bottom of the mountain through the tracks - the sun sets right through the pine trees at the bottom and it’s beautiful! Or take a walk up the mountain (it’s only 700m but it is steep) and enjoy the beautiful views of the Glasshouse Mountains with a full 360 view!
Maroochydore Boat Houses
Check out the beautiful Boat Houses down Bradman Avenue! A beautiful walk down the river as well
Sunrise Beach
All the dog beaches on the Sunshine Coast are stunning but Sunrise is definitely one of my personal favourites as you have the beautiful cliffs in the background. The Council has just updated all the rules for dog beaches across the Sunshine Coast as of July 2026 - so please check signage and the council website before visiting any beaches on the Sunshine Coast.
